What to do? What to do?

I haven’t posted in awhile because I haven’t been sure what to post! I’m not in training, I’m still sort of recovering from the marathon so I don’t have much to share! I suppose technically this is my off-season, I don’t really call it that since I’m not a super intense racer with big goals.

Since the marathon I’ve been staying active but with just a little running and lots of non-running and there have been some unpleasant wake-up calls!

I love strength training. I used to do a lot of it but it’s hard to fit it into a tough marathon training program. So I’ve decided that this fall/winter I’m going to do a lot more strength training. Like running, I somehow forget that when I haven’t done it in awhile, I’m not going to come back at the same place I was before. Ugh. I get all excited that I’m going to have this awesome workout and do so much and then I realize that I need to start a bit lighter and work my way back up there.

In other news, I made this crockpot lamb curry again this week and it’s so good. I’ve made it once or twice before and it’s been fantastic every single time.
